I never understood this dating videos crap. I mean, what do you actually do ? Do you stand in front of a camera trying to make yourself look good when deep inside you're just feeling miserable and lonely cause you couldn't get a women by 40 and you're afraid of your kid's colleagues to ask him "Was that your grandpa?" ? Or, do you stand in front of a camera simply trying to be someone else, hoping that this way you're finally going to find the perfect woman in your life, and then be "yourself" again for the rest of your life with her ? Or do you just stand in front of a camera narrating some lame lines that don't even represent you and hoping that someone else (=the person who wrote the lines) knows better then you how you can get a woman in your bed, if you don't know how ? I guess not...I guess it must be the famous World War II movie you're currently shooting, the load of data you're processing, the hilarious funny man you are even if at this lame video dating line you're simply boring. Or you could hit the Big Brother and then all the women will love you for who you are! The funny part is, If I were gay and would see a tape like this, I'd probably be straight again for the rest of my life without any regrets whatsoever.

Every once in a while...

Din cand in cand nu pot sa nu stau putin sa ma gandesc, sa observ si sa constat circul din jurul meu...atunci cand e mai acut. Acum in preajma acestui scandal imens cu reducerile de pensii, salariile la buget, banii pentru cresterea copiilor, etc. ... vreau sa ma pronunt din nou cu niste pareri adiacente macar, pentru m-am hotarat sa nu ma mai agit pentru politica mai mult decat atata cat sa fiu informat ca orice om normal, in momentul in care am vazut cu cata neobrazare a furat aparatul lui Pinocchio voturile anul trecut.

Lumea era speriata de trandafirii albi pe fond rosu i nasa masura incat i-a ales pe cei albastrii pe fond portocaliu, ca au zis ca s-au saturat de ei 209 de ani, ca sunt corupti, ca au afaceri, ca alte alea...Asa ca ales suspensiile de pe nasul infinit mai lung decat lat al lui Pinocchio, care in cateva luni au reusit sa isi bata joc de o tara cat n-au reusit altii din 15 ani de zile. Ma gandesc, oare cati dintre cei care au castigat o galeata protocalie isi doresc acum sa se fi exprimat in mod diferit in cabina de vot anul trecut ? Cati bigetari, cati pensionari, cate mame sau tati regreta decizia de anul trecut din cabinele de vot sau chiar decizia de a sta acasa si a nu merge la urne, avand in veder situatia in care se afla acum. De la aceasta situatie si pana la colapsul cel putin partial si al sectorului privat nu e decat un singur pas, poate putin mai mare decat un pas de om obisnuit, dar e, totusi, un singur pas.

Cantam de 20 de de ani un imn care ne indeamna la trezire intorcandu-ne pe partea cealalata cu o usoara apsare pe "Snooze" la fiecare alarma, nu doar cu gandul departe de trezire dar chiar departe de ideea de-a mai sta doar 5 minute. Departe de constientizarea stari ide somn...(ce paradoxal suna, asa-i ?)

Si ca sa revin si totodata sa inchei, in curand vom ajunge sa nu mai asteptam niciun sprijin, ajutor sau intelegere de la autoritati si sa ne bazam exclusiv pe atat-de-controversatul-dar-totusi-se-pare-singurul-ajutor-social-in-momentul-de-fata: norocul. Si cu aceasta ocazie, vreau sa dedic cu respecte mancatz-as, urmatoarea pcesa tutulor portocalelor de la noi din tara - stricate sau mai putin stricate (pe care le rog sa se indeparteze in alt cos, ca sa nu se strice si ele) - cu impacarea ca in sfarsit au si manelele locul lor bine meritat fiind surclasate de marii si ilustrii nostrii conducatori. Iar a doua pcesa pentru cei care inca mai spera la o viata decenta in tara in care traiesc, sper sa va gasiti norocul :)

P.S.: Orice asemanare a celor mentionate in acest articol cu obiecte sau personaje din viata reala este o pura coincidenta.

I couldn't help but be amazed of the great comeback of the simpsons. Well, it's nbot really a comeback cause they're around for over 20 years but the beginning of the last episode really rocked my world.

Daily designs. Days 0 & 1

Following the advice of the elderly - as thet always prove wise amongst us beginners - namely The Smashing Magazine, I decided to design something every day and post it here - simple as it might be, since I'm rather a dreamer then a technician when it comes to design. I also decided to post in english from now on on my blog, and sorry for you visitors out there who'd like to read earlier posts (use google translate :P). The subject I have chosen for this competition with myself is wordplay, i.e. trying to find things that can be expressed visually by they real word components and would eventually turn out completely different then the term itself.
Because this is my first day, I will post 2 designs for Day 0 and Day 1, and hoping that I will be able not just to bring a smile on some good ol' Internet surfer, but also inspire or whatever the reason is you visit this page and chances are you might even like something.
